couldnt go because of marching band
saturday:
-soundteam:the guy in to jump suit was so cute knocking his mike down and what not. it really is a shame that is there last show...

-damian rice(only so we could have a good spot for muse)
-MUSE: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!! seriously there are no words to describe how great it was jdklfajsoitrjklsdmfkl!!!

rest of trip:
-dunnottar castle
-hiked up glen doll(3000 ft. and my feet were aching the entire time)
-edinburgh again(checked out the university:AMAZING!)
-visited some fishing villages
-farewell dinner
i am really going to miss everything about scotland (especially my RA john!)
being away from him for so long and being with him last night made me realize that i really love him. i guess i should tell him soon... |

i have been playing squash and hand ball a lot lately and it is quite an experience. well, we dont actually play, it is more of just goofing off and just trying to hit the ball. it is really hilarious!
-went on excursion to sterling castle
-went to edinburgh castle and went shopping (i LOVE H&M)
-went to dunnottar castle (by far the prettiest and most fun)
-and i of course i have had my lectures
i cant believe i am getting a bit homesick, but i just miss you guys so much. but then another part of me never wants to leave this place. i am one confused girl!

i saw harry potter last night! i have to admit, i was very dissappointed. it was by far the best cinematically, but they really rushed it and changed the story. oh well...
scotland so far:
-went on a trek around some of fife's archeological sites with our guide doug. what a cute little man, he had an adorible accent(like everyone here) and rosy red cheeks
-i've had a lot of lectures which have been very educational and fun. all of my proffesors are cute old men!
-we went to the cairngorm mountains in the highlands where i got to take a stoll around a beautiful loch. then we went to a working sheep farm where i got to hold little puppy border colleys. then we went to a reindeer farm, which was VERY COOL, but they really smell. then we went to loch ness and walked around the castle(i didnt get to see nessy)
-we went to falkland palace and hiked up a very large hill
-WE HAD A CEILIDH(a scottish dance party)!!!!! we danced the traditional highland jigs and i got to dance with our amazing RAs!!!!!
-and i just got back from the beautiful glamis castle! |

scotland is absolutly gorgeous! the university looks like hogwarts, the grass is a beautiful shade of green, and the accents are irresitable!i have walked all around the town and taking in everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

went to see pirates of the caribbean at 8:00 on thursday then again on friday!!! ABSOTLUTLY AMAZING!!! it won back my heart and came very close to being my favorite!
got back from my cruise saturday! we went to progresso where i saw some mayan ruins and cozumel where i went snorkeling! the water is a fierce shade of blue and extremely clear and just absolutly gorgeous!!!melissa, kim and i hung out a lot eating, watching the entire first season of gilmore girls, more eating, making fun of people, and more eating!!!
we are actually acting like a couple now. you know holding hands, kissing, and being gross like teddy and claire(but no one can beat them in there lovey doveyness)! i hate to admit it, "because i fancy myself wonderwoman", but i missed him when i was gone, which is stupid because i was only gone for a week. but i got one hell of a welcome home!!!
i got an ipod, but i have no idea how to work it... |
